The parking area near the ACT Law Courts has changed to pay parking and has moved to two separate areas on the left as you go through the boom gates. There are now 9 spaces in 2 areas.

The numerous parking areas in the vicinity of Dorothy Tangney Pl and across King’s Avenue from the Edmund Barton Building are out of action due to the development of the John Gorton Campus multi-storey car park. Hopefully the new car park will have adequate and well-designed motorbike parking.

New parking areas added at: Regatta Point near the Canberra and Region Visitors Centre, behind the Deakin shops at the Canberra Deakin Football Club (thanks Gary) and near the Fire Brigade Historical Society in Forrest.

New area with parking for five bikes in the large car park near the Old Bus Depot Markets, Canberra Glassworks and Kingston Foreshore.

A new large motorbike parking area has been added directly in front of the Lakeside Leisure Centre in Tuggeranong. Thanks Bob.

The Challis St laneway in Dickson appears to be temporarily closed due to hoardings for neighbouring developments. Thanks Dan.

There are thirteen parking spaces in the underground car park below Poppy’s Cafe at the Australian War Memorial.

The parking area at the western end of Queen Victoria Terrace near West Block and across the Commonwealth Avenue from the British High Commission is temporarily closed – probably due to building work at West Block.
